Do i really need to get a "wideband O2 meter"? |

Ok so afer so checking around it seems that most are telling me i need to get a wideband for the mild mods made to my car,BBK X-pipe,flowmaster delta 40 catback, ford racing heads. That is all i have done and now i have a small zone where i am getting some detonation between,1200-2500rpm range. So the ECM cant compensate for these small air flow increses??
